Christine Betz Hall

Chris invites individuals and groups to notice, appreciate and respond to God’s guidance in everyday life. She is called to support others in faithfulness to the Inward Teacher—to partner with God for personal transformation and concrete service to the wider world. Her gentle approach prepares others to live more fully into their gifts, leadings and ministry. Testimonials
A 20 year member of the Religious Society of Friends in the unprogrammed tradition, Chris is active among Quakers on Whidbey Island, north of Seattle. She holds a Masters Degree in Transforming Spirituality from Seattle University’s ecumenical School of Theology and Ministry. As an experienced spiritual director, educator and retreat leader, she is called to teach and nurture individuals’ spiritual lives, Quaker communities and the larger Society of Friends.
In January 2012, Chris launched Way of the Spirit: Contemplative Study in Community. Participants will be equipped to live fully into their unique gifts in service to others through a series of residential retreats, with assigned readings and contemplative reflection. The program is informed by School of the Spirit Ministry with their blessing on Chris’s ministry.
