Lon Fendall Speaking

Lon has been doing public speaking since competing in speaking contests in high school. After spending a year of graduate study in West Africa, he spoke in many of the Rotary Clubs in Oregon, the sponsors of his studies.

During one part of his career he was a speech writer for Senator Mark Hatfield (R-OR) and spoke to numerous audiences on his behalf.

He has spoken on college campuses, in church worship services, workshops, retreats, camps, and radio programs.

A rewarding speaking assignment recently was as a presenter in leadership training classes in Rwanda, Burundi, and Congo. The subject was “Discernment in group decision-making.”
