Nancy McCormick
Nancy, a Recorded Friends minister, pastors Chester Friends Meeting and Springfield Meeting with her husband, Mike, in southwest Ohio.
She has been singing for her whole life. That has led her into worship music, therapeutic singing and the joy of bursting into song at any moment. She is a listener, a spiritual director and Reiki practioner–and this had led her to have a ministry among seniors, children and those who are in crisis.
For years, Nancy has been singing songs, painting pictures –and jotting down stories. These talents came together in a delightful book and CD, God is all around, that celebrates God in the common everyday moments of our lives.
She and her husband, Mike, also share a love for the land and for Pecheron draft horses. Together they are creating McCormick Work Horse Farm as a healing and joy-filled space.
Nancy graduated from Hiwasee College, Madisonville, Tennessee and received her social work degree from Wilmington College, Wilmington, Ohio. She and Mike have two daughters and one granddaughter.
