Noah Baker Merrill
Quaker-in-Residence

The experience of a traveling minister encouraging the spiritual life of a local congregation through an extended visit is a longstanding part of the Quaker tradition.

Through mutual discernment, Noah may be available to visit your faith community for a more extended period of time, ranging from a week to a month. During this time, Noah might offer a series of talks and workshops, meet one-on-one with members of the community and committees or smaller cell groups for spiritual nurture and encouragement, support the work of the church or meeting in public witness, and participate fully in the worship and life of the community.

Details are discerned on a case-by-case basis, in keeping with your needs. Housing, meals, transportation if needed, and an honorarium in keeping with your community’s means are requested. To explore this further, email Noah at noah@goodnewsassoc.org
